Mixed trend in metal prices

Prices of nickel and zinc moved up in a subdued non-ferrous metal market here today due to good demand from industrial users while aluminium and copper sheets cutting moved down in the absence of industrial support. Nickel rose by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 720 from the previous close of Rs 710 and zinc by a rupee per kg to Rs 71. However, aluminium utensils scrap fell by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 89 from Rs 93 and copper sheets cutting by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 212 against Rs 215 previously.
