Nickel, aluminium decline

A mixed trend was noticed on the non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday. Prices of nickel and aluminium declined on lack of industrial demand while copper, tin, brass, zinc and lead moved up owing to good industrial support coupled with higher global advices. Nickel fell by Rs.20 per kg to Rs.1,700 from Rs.1,720 previously, aluminium ingots by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.134 and aluminium utensils scrap by Re1 per kilo to Rs.114. Copper cable scrap firmed up by Rs.6 per kg to Rs.359, Copper scrap heavy by Rs.5per kg to Rs.352, copper utensils scrap by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.317, copper sheets cutting by Rs.4 per kg to Rs.344, copper armature by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.346, copper wire bar y Rs.2 per kg to Rs.387, brass utensils scrap by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.257, tin by Rs.3 per kg to Rs.698, zinc by Rs.2 per kg to Rs.182 and lead by Re.1 per kg to Rs.104.
