Tin gains on industrial demand

Metal prices moved up on the non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday on sustained industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange. Tin rose by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 715 and copper sheet cutting by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 207.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armature, copper utensils scrap and copper wire bar moved up by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 214, Rs 212, Rs 210, Rs 196 and Rs 242 respectively. Brass sheets cutting, aluminium utensils scrap and lead also ended slightly higher by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 164, Rs 80 and Rs 81 respectively.
